A former Governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo state, Dr Segun Abraham has organised a solidarity rally for the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to him, the rally was essentially to solicit massive support and appealed to Nigerians to vote for him towards the betterment of the nation.

At the rally held in Ikare- Akoko which was attended by the state chairman of the party, Ade Adetimehin and former secretary to the state government, Ifedayo Abegunde, they described former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo’s endorsement of Peter Obi as inconsequential.

This is another rally organised to galvanise support for the All Progressives Congress Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Ikare- Akoko.

The solidarity rally is sponsored by an APC Chieftain and a long time friend of the former Governor of Lagos State, Segun Abraham.

While addressing the large crowd of party supporters, Abraham, said Tinubu remains the best candidate for the job because of his capacity and experience.

The former APC governorship aspirant, said all hands must be on deck to ensure that the APC presidential candidate wins with wide margin in the South West States.

He also described as inconsequential, the support of former President Olusegun Obasanjo for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi

His position was corroborated by the state chairman of the party, Ade Adetimehin and other leaders present at the rally.

OGUN NRM INWAR OF WORDS WITH ADC CANDIDATE

The Ogun State chapter of National Rescue Movement (NRM) has alleged that the embattled Governorship aspirant of the African Democratic Congress in the state, Biyi Otegbeye is planning to hijack the structure of the party by replacing all candidates of the party in the 2023 General Election.

This was made known by the House of Representatives Candidate of the Party in Ado-odo Ota federal constituency and some party members at a press conference held in Abeokuta.

They noted that Biyi Otegbeye is getting the support of  former Governor Ibikunle Amosun to embark on the mission and they have been concluded plans to declare the candidates of NRM dead in order to file for their replacements.

In his reaction, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress and a media aide to Biyi Otegbeye, Bolaji Adeniji described the NRM’s allegation as baseless
