These feats were achieved after intensed training of men and officers to combat terrorism.

To ensure synergy between the military and the public, this year’s Socio-Cultural Activities created an avenue for interactions that will further promote peaceful coexistence

The Officer Commanding Ground Training attributed the successes recorded to the leadership role by the Chief of the Air Staff.

The host governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, emphasised the need for Nigerians to appreciate efforts of the military in combating insurgency

The BASA Socio-Cultural event featured various cultural dances, drama from various ethnic groups in Nigeria and pulling of rope by able bodied men

The programme afforded the military the opportunity to recognize its personnel, friends and organization who have supported the activities of the Nigerian Air Force.
