Major streets in Gusau, the Zamfara state Capital are busy and residents are seeing going about their normal businesses.
There is no sign of protest there despite the suspension of activities to mark this year’s Democracy Day by the state Governor Bello Matawalle.
It follows the resurgence of banditry and kidnapping in some parts of the state.
