Number one seed, Marylove Edward and Emmanuel Jebutu have emerged as Champions of the Under-16 girls’ and boys category of the 2017 CBN Junior tennis Championship.
Playing on the centre court of the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club, Marylove proved her rating as tournament’s number one and defending champion with a ruthless streak.
She strolled to her fourth straight Junior singles title with an 8-1 victory over Toyin Asogba of Lagos.
In the boys category, Emma Jebutu held out against a fight back from Matthew Abamu to win. Jebutu defeated Abamu 8 games to 5.
