Member representing Epe Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr. Olusegun Olulade has called on the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed to reconsider the implications of allowing the Big Brother Naija Show on the Nigerian culture and youths.
Olulade, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Health Services, lamented that the contents of the Reality Show are completely foreign to the indigenous culture, which the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari is trying to promote.
Right. I keep wondering what values and message the Big Brother Naija program wish to pass to the minds of young impressionable Nigerians… Our setting isn’t ripe for such debasing programs.
