A group, Tínubu Independent Action Movement, has organised a rally to sensitise people of Ondo State on the need to vote for the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2023 elections.

The Senator representing Ondo North Senatorial District, Ajayi Boroffice, the former Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, Tayo Alasoadura and an APC chieftain, Olusola Oke, who participated in the rally said Tinubu has the capacity to transform Nigeria.

The walk began at two different points in Akure, the Ondo state capital.

While some members of the group known as the Tínubu Independent Action Movement, started from the Fiwasaye roundabout, others moved from the Ilesha garage area.

It was a carnival-like atmosphere, as they demonstrated their unflinching support for the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima.

They went through major streets of Akure, stressing the need for people to take the message to the nooks and crannies of the state.

The walk terminated at the old garage area of Akure, where leaders of the group, including the Senator representing Ondo North, Ajayi Boroffice, the former Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, Tayo Alasoadura and an APC chieftain, Olusola Oke addressed the rally.

They expressed optimism that Tinubu will transform Nigeria, if elected the country’s next president.

Ondo State is one of the Strongholds of the All Progressives Congress and the party is expected to sweep the Polls in the 2023 Elections there and this rally by the Tinubu Independent Action Movement is another step by members and supporters of the party to ensure it keeps its competitive advantage in Ondo.

Senators Omotayo Alasoadura and Robert Ajayi Borrofice are the arrowheads of the team and have vowed to ensure the party wins in Ondo State at all levels.
