The last is yet to be had on the exchange of words between ThisDay, Arise News TV and the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council’s (PCC) as Director, Strategic Communication of the APC, Mr. Dele Alake insists that the station has thrown the professional ethics into the gutters.

The recent outrage of the board of editors of ThisDay and Arise news accusing the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council’s Director of Media and Publicity, Bayo Onanuga and its Director of Strategic Communication, Dele Alake of attempting to silence Independent Media, bully Free Press ahead of the 2023 general election has received reaction from the all progressives Congress on TVC’s Political program politics tonight.

Director of strategic communication of the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign Council Dele Alake gave his reaction on the accusation of bullying Free Press in the country.

He said “We have not said Asiwaju will not face any interview, what we have is that he will not face Arise interview and there is no law that compels any body to face a particular media or a particular medium.”

Mr Alake stated there is nothing to be jealous about Arise.

“Jealous of what? of his style and brand of media operation that is predicated on blackmail, fraud, intimidation and extortion”.

He also took a swipe on the Anchors of Arise News on ThisMorning program on their blackmail and tactics to attack Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu 2023 presidential ambition.

“They editorialise on air, they are not even grounded theoretically. In this communication of business, “I have gone through the crucibles of this industry, there is no angle you want to come and you will not meet me there, “he said.

On the recent comments on Asiwaju Bola Tinubu health status made by Professor Usman Yusuf, he said “he was just sounding off, blowing hot air and that is not the first time.

“The only thing that he is known for, identified with is among the bandits. That is what he has been known for as he has been mixing with them.

The time is ticking and the power to make decisions lies in the hands of the people in the 2023 general election.

It is that journalists should verify information before going to press.
