Prelate of the Methodist church of Nigeria, His Eminence Samuel Emeka Uche has called on church leaders to go back to what he called old time religion, when evangelism, accountability, and modesty was the bedrock of the church.
He made the call at the inauguration of the Diocese of Ereko, at the enthronement of Bishop and the presentation of lay president in Lagos.
For the members it was a day of joy as they listened as Teacher after teacher took them through the bible readings for the day. Then it was time to officially present the Bishop and lay president to the church.
For the new officers, they are ready to work in tandem with the expectations of the church
