Sunshine Stars players have staged a protest over the non-payment of their five-months salaries.
The players started the protest from their camp site and marched on to the governor’s office where they were addressed by the deputy governor, Lasisi Oluboyo.
Oluboyo, promised the protesting players that the state government will look into the issue and ensure the payment of their salaries in the coming days.
The players had embarked on the same protests last season and the previous one to press home their demands.
