Nigeria has recorded 685 new cases of COVID-19 in 16 states but none in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this on its official Twitter handle late Sunday.
The total number of infections in the country is now 131,242.
The NCDC also announced eight coronavirus-related deaths in the past 24 hours, taking the country’s number of deaths to 1,586.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), 1,277 got discharged on Sunday and a total of 104,989 so far.
