Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum has welcomed the appointment of new service chiefs by President Mohammadu Buhari.
The governor expressed gratitude to the outgoing service chiefs, particularly chiefs of army, and air staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai and Air Marshall Abubakar Sadique with whom Borno government worked more closely in the fight against Boko Haram.
He notes that the new service chiefs have the capacity to achieve tremendous success especially in winning the war against insurgency.
