Following the lingering fuel crisis in Sokoto State, the State Government and the state chapter of the Independent Petroleum Marketers (IPMAN) have reached a deal that will ensure availability of petroleum products in all parts of the state.
An agreement was reached in a meeting between governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, and the Sokoto state chapter of IPMAN, led by Chairman Sulaiman Magaji, and members of the State Task Force on availability of petroleum products.
Sokoto State government also threatened to revoke the Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) of any sales outlet hoarding petroleum products in the state.
