Nigerian Youths have been advised to consider venturing into Agriculture and contribute their quota to food production and economic development of the country in order to get out of recession.
Senator Lekan Mustapha, one time Senator from Ogun East Senatorial district of the State gave the advise during a seminar organised by an age grade Social Cultural Group, Egbe Bobamayegun Okunrin of Ijebu land.
Speaking about the relevance of the programme to economic stability of the country, Dr. Olabode Badru of the Department of Agric Extension, University of Ibadan, said Agropreneurship remains a better option to revenue generated from crude oil.
He advised the government to continue to work on how to make Agriculture attractive to the youth and appealed to the youth to work on how to make agricultural produce from the country exportable.
