We’ll support fight against sharp practices in oil sector – NOGASA

Osun State Government has promised to support all efforts aimed at blocking loopholes, reducing sharppractices and generate more revenue for the state.

Governor Gboyega Oyetola who stated this in Osogbo, the State Capital during the inauguration of an oil and Gas Organization, also wants various  associations in Osun to formally register with the state Government.

Nigeria’s Oil and Gas sector has been facing a lot challenges ranging from pipeline vandalism, bunkering, theft, illegal refinery, environmental degradation among other.

All these no doubt are having negative impacts on the economy and health of the people.

The Nigeria Oil and Gas suppliers Association is ready to put an end to these challenges and other sharp practices in the sector.

The Governor who was represented by Commissioner for Commerce, Cooperatives and Investment, Bode Olaonipekun calls for registration of various organizations in the state with Government.

Osun State Council office of the Association was inaugurated while new executives of the Association at different unit in the State also emerged and took oath of office.
