An Airpeace flight conveying 86 Evacuees arrived Nnamdi Azikiwe Int’l Airport, Abuja at about 2230hrs from Istanbul, Turkey Sunday, 5th of July, 2020.
59 Evacuees disembarked in Abuja while 27 proceeded to Murtala Muhammed Int’l Airport, Lagos.
All evacuees tested negative to COVID-19 before boarding and are now on 14 days self isolation as mandated by NCDC, Federal Ministry of Health, and the Presidential taskforce on Covid-19.
According to a tweet from the Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri, more batches are still being expected to return.
