Rivers State governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has assured the people of Rivers State that they will continue to enjoy good governance, pro-people leadership and an enhanced welfare in 2017.
In a New Year message, the governor felicitated with the people of Rivers State and other Nigerians in the New Year, urging them to continue to pray for the state and Nigeria.
He noted that Rivers State would continue to grow in all sectors in 2017, as his administration is focused on building on the successes of 2016. The governor said that civil servants’ and pensioners’ welfare would continue to receive priority attention, as his administration will always pay salaries and pensions.
