President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated troops for finally capturing Boko Haram’s stronghold in Sambisa forest.
The president’s message spoke of his delight at the gallantry of the troops in Operation Lafiya Dole for crushing the Boko Haram terrorists in their last enclave in Sambisa Forest.
The message, a moral booster ahead of the festive season, also cited
communication between him and the Chief of Army Staff of progress in putting terrorists on the run earlier in the week.
The campaign to end Boko Haram’s occupation of Sambisa forest in Borno has been on for months.
