The Nigerian government says it will make Agriculture the mainstay of the economy beginning from next year.
The Minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbe, stated this at a forum in Lagos.
He said that the Bank of Agriculture will be restructured for better performances.
According to him, the Bank will be given more money for operations which will ensure that farmers get loans at single digit interest rates.
