Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun and some residents have called on the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) to work on regular power supply and accurate billing system as against the estimated billing.
They made this known while speaking on the performance of the company and how it can best serve residents.
For some years, Nigerians have been lamenting of poor power supply that comes with heavy bills.
Many depend on generators to get electricity for their businesses and domestic use.
Joining other residents to call for urgent attention on the matter, Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun urged the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company to improve its services.
He said residents are willing to pay for what they use.
Residents say the estimated billing is a fraud and want the anti graft agencies to intervene.
Some of them say they are ready to pay for the prepaid meter but the organization is yet to provide it to them.
