U.S President Donald Trump has presented his long-awaited Middle East peace plan, promising to keep Jerusalem as Israel’s undivided capital.
Trump proposed an independent Palestinian state and the recognition of Israeli sovereignty over West Bank settlements.
Palestinians have rejected President Donald Trump’s Middle East plan, also known as the “Deal of the Century”.
They say his proposed Middle East plan which he claimed was a “realistic two-state solution” caters to nearly every major Israeli demand.
Trump revealed his plan on Tuesday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu standing by his side at the White House.
It is hoped that the plan solves one of the world’s longest-running conflicts but this may not come to be with objections from palestine as the plan has failed to address some crucial issues that affect them.
