The Nigerian electricity management agency has commenced a two weeks training programme for 40 engineers and technical officers.
The aim is to enhance their capacity to carry out meter testing and inspection of other electrical equipment.
Managing director, NEMSA, Peter Ewesor said at the inauguration of the programme that the specialized technical capacity building will focus on standards, installation and meter instrument.
He advised Nigerians to ensure that all meters installed in their premises has NEMSA seal as authentication to show that the meter had met standard.
