Scores have been reported killed by suspected herdsmen in Shuwa-Kala’a Village, Adamawa state.
One of the locals told TVC News that since the start of the harvest season, herdsmen had been terrorizing the area.
Sani Ahmed, who spoke with journalists on phone said the military had intervened and is hopeful they will be able to contain and push back the attackers.
When contacted, spokesperson for the police, DSP Suleiman Nguroje, said he needed time to get a report from the Divisional Police Officer in charge.
