The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has submitted a 15 page report in response to the Minister of Sports’ demand for performance analyses of the national teams.
In the report signed by its President Amaju Pinnick, the NFF, blames inadequate funding and what it calls a baseless probe of its activities by the country’s anti-corruption agencies, for the poor performances of the teams.
The Super Falcons and the national Under-23 team failed to qualify for the Olympic Games.
The Home-Based Eagles also failed to reach the 2020 African Nations Championships, while the Golden Eaglets crashed out of the 2019 FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Brazil
