CAS Amao visits Bayelsa, donates relief materials to flood victims

The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Isiaka Oladayo has paid a visit to Bayelsa State with relief materials to ameliorate the plight of the affected within the State.

While accessing the current situation at the Air Base headquarters in Yenagoa which was also impacted by the flood, called for more support from spirited Nigerians

Bayelsa, one of the states heavily impacted by the flood, has seen many communities submerged in all the local government areas.

The Chief of Air Staff’s visit is to commiserate with the people about the recent flood disaster across the state and bring succor by way of relief materials.

He visited the headquarters of the NAF 35 Base Service Wing, Opolo to see for himself areas affected by the water within the base.

Sympathising with the affected, the Chief of the Air Staff commends the efforts of the military in assisting the victims.

With the relief materials already on the ground from the office of the Air-force Chief, the base begins distribution to affected persons to the delight of the beneficiaries.
