Nigeria’s Minister of sports, Sunday Dare has praised the attitude of the Eaglets at the FIFA U17 World Cup despite their 2-1 defeat to Australia on Friday.
Australia beat Nigeria courtesy a brace from Noah Botic, and picked their first win of the tournament.
In spite of the defeat, Minister of Sports Sunday Dare said the team has done well so far in the tournament .
Nigeria will return to action in the round of 16, on November 5 against the third placed team from either group A/C/D.
