Twenty-five members of the Osun State House of Assembly elected on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party have officially defected to the Accord Party.
The development comes about four months after the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, pitched his tent with the Accord Party to seek re-election.

In a video circulating on social media, the lawmakers were seen wearing yellow face caps alongside the Governor at the Government House, indicating their defection.
With this latest move, the State House of Assembly is now dominated by the Accord Party, with only one member of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
