Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, has assured President Bola Ahmed Tinubu that political forces across Kaduna State have aligned in support of his administration and that of Governor Uba Sani.

He said the three senatorial zones of the state are now united behind the leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress, expressing confidence that the party will secure a landslide victory in the 2027 general elections.

Abbas made the remarks at the State House in Abuja while leading a delegation of key Kaduna stakeholders, including Senator Sunday Marshall Katung and former Kaduna Central lawmaker Shehu Sani

Framing the visit as a strategic engagement, Abbas said the group briefed the President on what he called the growing acceptance and consolidation of the APC across Kaduna, including areas previously dominated by the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He noted that recent defections, particularly from the southern zone, long considered a PDP stronghold, have significantly altered the political landscape in favour of the ruling party.

“This is Kaduna in summary. We are here to assure Mr. President that APC has been accepted 100 per cent in all the nooks and crannies of Kaduna, and to tell him that 2027 is guaranteed — a landslide from zone one to zone two to zone three,” Abbas said.

The Speaker attributed the shifting dynamics to the governance style of Governor Uba Sani, which he described as inclusive and instrumental in bridging longstanding regional and religious divides.

According to him, the entry of figures such as Katung and other former PDP officials into the APC has further strengthened the party’s grip on the state, consolidating its reach across all three senatorial districts.

“We are battle-ready to ensure that Mr. President and all other APC candidates secure landslide victories in 2027,” he added.
