More than 50 SMEs in Akwa Ibom state are to receive 5 million naira as business grants.
Governor Umo Eno disclosed this at a special thanksgiving service at the international worship centre in Uyo.
Residents and friends of Akwa Ibom state across political lines gathered at the international worship centre, in Uyo to give glory for a successful year and re-dedicating the state to God.
Addressing the congregation, Governor Eno says the ARISE agenda of his administration is focused on bringing the dividends of democracy to Akwa Ibom people.

The governor announced a townhall meeting next in February across the 10 federal constituencies to allow for accountability and even development across the state
He added that two SMEs in each local government will be empowered with 5 million naira grant, with the belief that this will help the SMEs thrive and more jobs created.

President Tinubu wants governors to support local governments to achieve food sufficiency, and agriculture has received a major attention in governor Eno ARISE agenda.
