The Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Olayide Adelami has stressed the need to engage the youth in sporting activities to discourage them from going into cultism and other social vices.
The Deputy Governor spoke at the closing ceremony of the Olugbenga Eleduma football competition in Owo.
He said there is the need to discover young talents to represent Nigeria in age limit competitions.

The organiser of the tournament said the competition is designed to engage young talents in taking football as a career.
According to him, there is a need to provide an enabling environment for young football talents to become world class players
