Former Commissioner for Technical education in Delta state, Joan Onyemaechi who was abducted on the 30th of July by some gunmen in her church in Asaba, has been released.
The police public relations officer in Asaba, Bright Edafe who confirmed her release did not give further details.
Recall that some Gunmen abducted the former Delta state Commissioner at her church along DBS road, Asaba during church service, killing a police officer attached to her and her driver.

Joan Onyemaechi who in 2015 represented Aniocha/Oshimili federal constituency at House of Representatives, also served as lawmaker for Aniocha South at the Delta state House of Assembly from 2007 to 2015
