The Kwara state government says ongoing projects are carefully designed to positively impact the people of the state.
Inspecting the ongoing remodeling of Kwara Hotel and the Ilorin Innovation Hub, commissioner for Business, Innovation and Technology, Damilola Yusuf-Adelodun says the projects are aimed at creating boundless opportunities for the people of the state, especially the youth.
The Ilorin innovation Hub is designed to promote Information and Communications Technology skills among the youth.
It is currently at the completion stage and expected to be delivered before the end of the year.
Inspecting the project, the Kwara state commissioner for Business, Innovation and Technology, Damilola Yusuf-Adelodun says the facility will attract tech companies and also create employment opportunities for thousands of youths.
The commissioner and her team which also includes the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye also inspected the ongoing complete remodeling of the Kwara Hotel.
Work is currently at 25 per cent.
Government says the target is to bring back and improve on the old glory of Kwara Hotel.
The contract is being handled by a foreign company but the government is conscious of the need for local content in the contract execution.
