Stakeholders in the All Progressives Congress, APC in Irele Local Government area of Ondo State have resolved to ensure Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa wins the November 16 Governorship Election in the state with wide a margin.
They also urged members of the party to be more dedicated, as they look forward to enjoying dividends of democracy.
For stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Irele Local Government Area of Ondo State, this meeting became imperative to keep members informed about the programmes and policies of Aiyedatiwa-led government, which has shown enough interest in the people’s welfare.
It was convened by the Special Adviser to Governor Aiyedatiwa on Health Matters, Professor Sinmidele Odimayo.
According to Professor Odimayo, the current government in the state has done creditably well through execution of impactful projects.
He sought their cooperation ahead of the Governorship election, by ensuring that the party wins the poll.
Some party leaders harped on the need for members to work as a team and shun unnecessary acrimony.
Some members of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, who defected to APC, were received into the party at the event.
With reconciliation concluded in all the wards, the party leaders are echoing peace and unity ahead of the November 16 Governorship election.
