One of the trains was stopped at a station when the other crashed into it. Those on the stopped train said there was a woman who fell, cutting her head.
According to Catalunya Ràdio, medical professionals were able to reach the woman and give her treatment.
The passenger who spoke to local media also said the other train was travelling at a very slow speed.
According to Ester Capella, the Catalan government’s representative in Madrid, officials are examining the event.
