The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun has restated the commitment of his administration towards improving the welfare and well-being of the people, encourage Public Private Partnership and economic development of the state.
He made this known during the presentation of N472Billion 2023 Appropriation Bill tagged, Budget of Continued Development and Prosperity at the State House of Assembly, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

The bill tagged Budget of Continued Development and Prosperity was designed in line with the five points ISEYA Agenda of the Administration.
The N472 billion budget proposal is expected to touch all the key areas of the agenda of the Administration which are Infrastructural development, Social Welfare and wellbeing, Education, Youth Empowerment and Agriculture.
The Governor noted that recurrent expenditure will take N201billion, while capital expenditure will take N270 billion
He said that the budget is expected to be funded through internally generated revenue, statutory allocation from the federal government among others.
On his part, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo promised that the house will take a critical look at the appropriation bill and give it speedy passage in the interest of the people.
The Speaker also called for more support and synergy with the executive arm of the Government and construction of modern legislative complex.
