The Borno Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Utten Iki Boyi, has confirmed the death of 37 people in a ghastly motor accident along Maiduguri-Damaturu road.
According to him the accident involved a Yobe line bus from Abuja to Maiduguri and a Yankari Line bus from Maiduguri to Gaidam town.
He explained that buses on speed caught fire after the collision.
I37 corpses most of who
were burnt beyond recognition were recovered.

The accident occurred around Jakana village about 35 kilometres from Maiduguri.
