A 35-year old man, Daramola Oyindamola, has been sentenced to 56 years imprisonment by an Ekiti State High Court over charges of fraud, forgery impersonation and other related offences.
Oyindamola was charged and arraigned on a six-count charge of obtaining money under false pretence, stealing, procuring the execution of documents by false and making documents without authority.
The prosecutor, Akinola Abon, Esq called three witnesses to prove his case.
Delivering his judgment, in Ado-Ekiti, on Tuesday, Justice Olusegun Ogunyemi sentenced Oyindamola on six counts from the uncontroverted evidence adduced by the prosecution before the court.
Oyindamola was convicted and sentenced accordingly by Justice Ogunyemi; on count one, 7 years imprisonment, on count two, he is not guilty, on count three, 14 years imprisonment, on count four, 14 years imprisonment, on count five, 14 years imprisonment and on count six, 7 years imprisonment.
