PDP’s Douye Diri cannot be sworn in as Bayelsa gov – Oshiomhole

Image result for Oshiomhole and DiriThe National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, said Senator Douye Diri of the People’s Democratic Party cannot be sworn because he did not meet the requirements of the Supreme Court.

Mr Oshiomhole said no candidate in the election meets the requirement apart from David Lyon and the implication is that Bayelsa will be without a Governor from Friday.

Barely twenty four hours to the inauguration of a new administration in Bayelsa state, the supreme court gave a surprise ruling which has generated a lot of controversy and confusion in the state.

The Apex Court  nullified the election of the Bayelsa state governor elect, David Lyon.
