The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has advised passengers and other airport users to comply with all quarantine procedures at the nation’s airports.
The airports have intensified the screening of inbound passengers following an outbreak of the deadly coronavirus in china.
The current directive is aimed at protecting passengers and managing the risk of entry and in the country.
A statement by the Regional Manager ,South West Airports, Victoria Shin-Aba,has assured that primary screening is ongoing at the points of entry at Lagos airport.
It says airport officials will pay attention to the temperature of all arriving passengers.
Also, the officials will look out for signs of communicable diseases such as skin rashes,persistent diarrhea, persistent cough or difficulty in breathing.
Affected passengers will refered to secondary screening.
