No fewer than 500 people have benefited from the free medical outreach organised by the Chief of the Air Staff for the people of Ikeji-Ile Community in Oriade Local Government area of Osun State.
The efforts is parts of the move by the Air Force Chief to ensure mutual relationship between the military and the civilians
Rafiu Hammed reports Ikeji-Ile is an agrarian Community with a population of less than 20,000 People.
Their major occupation is farming. But the Community is lucky to share boundary with Ikeji-Arakeji, a Community that host a private University and I ex-convict where the Nigerian Air Force Institute of Safety is sited through which this Medical outreach is organised.
Residents came in their numbers to take advantage of the free Medical care courtesy of the chief of the Air Staff. Traditional ruler of the town, Oba and his wife the were the first to be attended to.
Representative of the chief of the Air Staff, says the free medical outreach has started since 2015 and will continue in Al parts of the country. Mosquito nets were presented to pregnant women and nursing mothers in the community.
