Mike Okwoche came tops to beat Gimba Umar of Channels TV.
A testament to his dedication to duty and ability to handle live situations and interviews with ease.
TVC News’ community-focused programme, Community Forum also won an award as the best TV production of the year.

However in other categories in the print Punch newspapers emerged newspaper of the year.
