Fifteen out of the forty-five persons kidnapped during a recent bandit attack on Wurma village in Katsina state have been willingly released.
Among them is a pregnant mother, and other women with health conditions.
But the entire community is still deserted and people are yet to recover from the shock of the incident, which happened two days ago.
Some who fled, still sleep in the bushes out of fear the bandits may return.
Wurma is some 60 kilometers from Katsina, the state capital.
