The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, SSANU members are currently at the Federal University of Technology, Akure protesting over irregular sharing of earned allowances.
They are angry that 80 of the earned allowances was allocated to Academic staff union of universities as against 20 allocated to members of SSANU and NASU

They say the sharing is insulting and a threat to their continued existence in the system
