Dawit Fikadu of Bahrain wins 7th edition of Okpekpe road raceDawit Fikadu of Bahrain has won the 7th edition of the Okpekpe international 10km road race. Fikadu returned a time of 28.47 minutes to win. It is the first time a non African has won the race.

In the women’s race it was a first and second for Kenya and third to Ethiopia. The first Nigerian man to cross the line is Emmanuel Gyan

Expectedly, Deborah Pam is the first Nigerian woman to cross the line.
