Image result for abubakar atikuAdamawa leaders of thought have called on former vice president Atiku Abubakar to contest the 2019 presidential election under the umbrella of the All Progressives congress (APC).

Speaking through the Chief of Staff to Governor Jibrilla Bindow, Alhaji Abba Jimeta at the flag-off of the construction of Girei- Pariya-Wurro-Bokki road, they were convinced that the former VP will
receive the support of his home state and emerge as standard bearer of the APC come 2019.

The Flag off of Girei-Pariya-Wurro-Bokki road construction transformed into a campaign forum, with all the chairmen of Adamawa state’s 21 Local Government areas chanting the slogan, “Atiku for 2019 presidency.”

Chief of Staff to Governor Bindow, who spoke in vernacular on behalf of APC stakeholders and leaders of thought said the state government was solidly behind the former Vice President.

He noted that Atiku is the most qualified Nigerian to take Nigeria out of its present economic crisis based on his business acumen.

The elated Former VP in his speech applauded Governor Bindow for working in line with the APC manifesto by giving the state the much needed face lift.

He described Bindow as the best governor to come out of the APC, pointing to the achievements he has recorded since he became the Adamawa State helmsman in 2015.

Governor Jibrilla bindow said his government will continue with programmes that would have direct impact on the electorate.

He thanked president Muhammadu Buhari for restoring peace in the North-East, adding that without peace, his government would not be flagging off road and other projects as it is doing currently.

He urged people of the state to continue to support his administration
