Akure based Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, side, Sunshine Stars, have announced the extension of the contract Coach Duke Udi by one year ahead of the start of the new season.
Coach Udi joined Sunshine from Nigeria National League club, Osun United last season.
He succeeded former Coach Kayode Olujoungbe, who lost the job over the team’s dismal start to the season.

Udi helped the Akure side finish 10th in the NPFL last season. The deal contains a renewal clause for another year at the end of 2018.
Sunshine open the new League season against top flight returnees Heartland in Owerri.
