INEC holds Abubakar Momoh memorial lecture

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has held a lecture in memory of the late Professor Abubakar Momoh who until his death was the Director General of its policy think-tank, The Electoral Institute.
Speakers reviewed the successes recorded in Nigeria’s recent electoral history at the lecture which focused on political parties, internal democracy and the 2019 general elections.

The family of the late Momoh later received a posthumous award on his behalf.
