Residents in the Mexican city of Juchitan are working together to overcome their difficulties following the devastating 8.2-magnitude earthquake that rocked the country.
The quake, which struck off Mexico’s southern coast Thursday night, has claimed 90 lives, more than one third of them in Juchitan of Oaxaca State.
The city has managed to regain order and stability thanks to the joint efforts of local residents added to the coordination endeavors by authorities.
The municipal government has set up a rescue center at a school, providing drinking water, food and daily necessities for homeless dwellers.
