The abducted Permanent Secretary in the Ondo state Hospital Management Board, Niran Ikuomola has regained his freedom.
Ikuomola was kidnapped alongside his driver by some gunmen on Sunday evening along the Okene-Lokoja-Abuja Road.
It was not however clear whether ransom was paid to his abductors who had earlier demanded for N70 million ransom.
The spokesperson of the Ondo state Police Command, Femi Joseph confirmed his release.

The state Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, however has visited the permanent Secretary and hailed the heroic performance of the security agencies in the state.
