The Amir of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’ah of Nigeria, Mash-hud Fashola has warned that peace will continue to elude the world as long as equity, justice and good conscience are relegated.
He made the observation during the 44th Ahmaddiyya youth national convention in Ikirun, Osun state.
Ibrahim Alege reports that the youth convention, otherwise called Ijtema of the Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya is held annually based on the belief that nations cannot be reformed without the reformation of the youth.
The goal is to ensure that the youth are spiritually, morally and physically trained to serve and gain the pleasure of Almighty Allah.
The theme for this year’s convention is :”Equity, Justice and Good Conscience: The True Creative Principles.
About 7,000 Ahmadiyya youths from across Nigeria participated in the convention, including some visiting youths from neighbouring countries.
Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya was established in Nigeria in 1972 to cater for both the spiritual and worldly development of members between the ages of 7 and 40.
