The Deputy Chief Whip of Nigeria’s House of Representatives has called for increased funding in the 2017 budget for the Benin- Owena River Basin Development Authority, BORDA.
Pally Iriase decried the poor budgetary provision for an agency he believes is crucial to the agricultural drive of the
government.
He says the proposed capital expenditure of N755 million and recurrent spending of N30 million for the authority is inadequate.
